Hmm.. I guess I shouldn’t’ve had that cup of coffee after all. I was feeling really tired at around nine and I had decided to stay up a bit later to work on my Creative Writing portfolio. So that was like five hours ago and I don’t feel like sleeping. At all.
I know I’m going to regret this in the morning, but right now I don’t care. I feel like I’m on a roll. I’ve been playing Text Twist on Yahoo, which gave me some inspiration to what to do for the poetry portion of my portfolio. So I’ve been combing the haiku (stuff we did earlier in the semester) with the definition poems we did for this Monday. It’s not quite ready yet though, but I just felt like I had to take a mini-break from writing it. Not easy coming up with the right word for the amount of syllables needed… Getting there, getting there.
No clue what to write for the prose section though. I could try the stream of consciousness stuff Virginia Woolf did. It’s really boring to read, unless… I wonder if I could get Phil to describe what it’s like when doing drugs. Apparently he’s had some sort of bad trip and that could be interesting to write about. Hmm.. I’ll ask him tomorrow.
